2019 Integrations Software Factory Digital Marketing

Since the preparation stage prior to its 2018 launch, XimioDev began working alongside Wilobank, the first fully digital bank in Argentina. The relationship started with the development of a landing page while the main website was still being built, and later expanded into a variety of digital marketing actions, including email marketing campaigns, additional landing pages, and other solutions designed to support the bank’s digital presence.

Over time, the relationship evolved into projects of greater technical and operational complexity. In 2019, Wilobank trusted XimioDev to develop internal software, starting with a secure data transmission solution integrated with xCom, a well-known banking system widely used in the industry. This tool, developed in Java, also included a web-based administration and reporting panel that made auditing, control, and verification tasks much easier within day-to-day operations.

Later, in 2020, another high-impact internal development was launched: a system responsible for generating PDF credit card statements for all of the bank’s customers. In this case, Python was used as the programming language, following a technical specification defined by the banking institution. The solution included both an executable component and a web interface used to download reports, schedule statement generation, and manage reissues. It was a four-year collaboration filled with demanding challenges, but also with strong results in a critical and highly regulated environment.

Internal solutions for a growing digital bank

This project represents a long-term working relationship with a financial institution operating under high technical and operational demands. What began as digital communication and marketing-oriented work gradually evolved into the development of key internal tools for the bank’s daily operations, in an environment where security, traceability, and reliability were essential requirements.

One of the most relevant milestones was the development of a secure data transmission system integrated with xCom, supported by a web-based administration and reporting interface. This solution helped simplify control, auditing, and validation processes around sensitive operations, adding an important layer of visibility and management over a critical banking integration. Later, the collaboration continued with a platform dedicated to the large-scale generation of PDF credit card statements, including features for scheduling issuances, managing reissues, and downloading reports from a web environment.

From a technical standpoint, the developments combined different technologies according to the needs and requirements of each project, including Java for internal integrations and Python for document-generation workflows. The result was a set of robust solutions that supported Wilobank’s evolution over several years, contributing operational efficiency, support for critical internal processes, and strong responsiveness within a fully digital banking ecosystem.
