Rediseño Promociones Cencosud

In 2023, we worked on the complete rebranding of the promotions section of the Cencosud website, while also supporting a strategic transition phase toward CencoPay, the group’s digital wallet. At XimioDev, we were responsible for the full process including design, mockups, front-end layout, and implementation of this new section, creating a renewed experience that was clearer and more aligned with the brand’s digital evolution.

The project was developed following the client’s brand guidelines and was conceived from the start with a mobile-first design approach. This made it possible to build an interface optimized for mobile devices without losing visual consistency or user experience quality on desktop. Given the institutional weight of the brand, the design process was especially detailed, with careful attention paid to every aesthetic decision, visual hierarchy, and interface behavior.

During the integration phase, we developed a template capable of consuming the client’s API to display promotions and perform searches with or without filters. This architecture made it possible to build a dynamic, scalable section prepared to support future changes within the broader Cencosud digital ecosystem. The result was a solid implementation designed both to improve user experience and to support a key stage in the evolution of the brand and its products.

A promotions section redesigned for brand, search, and digital evolution

This project was developed as a key component within the visual and functional update of one of the most sensitive areas of Cencosud’s digital ecosystem. The challenge was not only to redesign an existing section, but to build a new visual and technical foundation capable of supporting the brand transition toward CencoPay, while maintaining consistency with the group’s overall identity and the standards expected from a large-scale corporate client.

From a product perspective, the experience was strategically designed with a mobile-first approach, prioritizing simple navigation, clear presentation of benefits, and fast access to promotions and filters. The design phase included detailed mockups and carefully validated visual decisions based on the brand manual, understanding that in a company of this scale every UI adjustment directly impacts perception, trust, and institutional consistency.

On the technical side, the implementation included the development of a template connected to the client’s API, capable of handling promotion searches and dynamic filtering. This made it possible to structure a flexible section prepared for future changes and aligned with an evolving digital ecosystem. The result was a robust solution that combined design, performance, and integration to support an important stage in Cencosud’s digital transformation.
